Free Wawa Coffee for Teachers and School Staff ☕
Wawa’s "Cheers to Classrooms" is back, and it’s giving all the love (and free coffee) to teachers and school staff. From September 2 through September 15, educators in the area can snag any size hot coffee on the house—just let the cashier know you’re part of the school system. It’s Wawa’s way of toasting the heroes in our classrooms as they kick off another school year. So, teachers, grab your free caffeine boost and get ready to hit the classroom!

Delco’s Finest: Three Local Companies Named Among PA’s Best Employers by Forbes 🏆
Delco companies are making waves in the workforce! Forbes recently named Main Line Health, SAP America, and Wawa among the best employers in Pennsylvania. Main Line Health snagged 7th place, while SAP America took 15th. Wawa, the local favorite, came in at 85th. Havertown’s David Abrahams Takes on His Final Paralympics 🏊♂️

Havertown’s own David Abrahams is back in the water, competing in his second—and final—Paralympics. Diagnosed with Stargardt disease, a rare condition impacting his vision, Abrahams has already made a splash on the global stage. He took home a silver medal in the 100-meter breaststroke during the Tokyo 2020 Games. Now, he's aiming for gold as he wraps up his Paralympic journey. Let's cheer him on as he represents Delco and the USA in style! 🏅

Delaware County’s Women’s Commission is on the hunt for new members to join their mission of empowering local women and girls. This 15-member advisory group hosts events, collaborates with community partners, and honors influential women during National Women’s History Month. Week 1 of the football season is finally here! The Birds are back with a vengeance, aiming to erase the bitter taste of last year's playoff exit. Howie Roseman pulled no punches this offseason, bringing in big names like Saquon Barkley and bolstering the defense with seasoned vets like Bryce Huff and C.J. Gardner-Johnson. Add to that the return of key players like Brandon Graham, the Eagles are all in for a deep playoff run.
