(Vote) Too Soon For Wawa Pumpkin Spice Coffee? 🎃☕

On a simple, Saturday afternoon, a stop for gas led me (Clint) to walk into Wawa for some coffee. Low and behold, what did I see, PUMPKIN SPICE coffee has been released!

This led me to wonder, is it too soon? I posted this on Facebook and it caused quite a stir! From people saying they want it year-round, to others you could hear slamming the keyboard in disgust.

7 Delco Schools Score State Funding 🏫

Back in July, we wrote about Delaware County schools finally getting a slice of state funding to close the adequacy gap. The adequacy gap is a fancy way of saying the difference between what our schools have and what they actually need to provide a decent education.

Now, seven Delco school districts are set to receive additional funds aimed at easing high property tax burdens. This funding comes as part of a state initiative to address inequities in school financing, sparked by a Commonwealth Court decision.

Here are the 7 districts that will receive supplemental funding:

  • Southeast Delco School District ($1,622,461.66)

  • Chichester School District ($1,470,470.47)

  • William Penn School District ($1,215,861.59)

  • Ridley School District ($962,797.88)

  • Upper Darby School District ($781,551.05)

  • Wallingford-Swarthmore School District ($368,138.04)

  • Interboro School District ($316,784.1)

Check out WHYY for more details, and the full breakdown of all the schools that will receive funding.
