With only 18% of voters in favor, local groups like the Save Chinatown Coalition have voiced strong opposition. Critics argue the ownership, led by Josh Harris, is pushing the project without considering community concerns. Even Jason Kelce weighed in, voicing his disdain for the plan, calling it wrong for the city and its residents. The current Wells Fargo lease ends in 2031.

Did you know that Pennsylvania is ranked as the second-most popular state for out-of-state freshman college students? This comes from a 17-year survey by the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania (AICUP). Based on U.S. Department of Education data, the survey highlights that around 21,000 students from across the country choose Pennsylvania schools annually. With 85 AICUP institutions drawing students mainly from states like New Jersey, New York, and California, the data underscores the strong reputation of Pennsylvania’s private, nonprofit colleges. Leaders hope these students will stay post-graduation!
