From September 21-29, Delaware County transforms into a cultural playground with events showcasing everything from live theater to vibrant gallery exhibitions. Hosted by the Delaware County Arts Consortium, this annual celebration highlights the area’s rich artistic community, featuring performances, classes, and exhibits for all ages. DCCC’s Prendie Project Gets $10M Boost 💸

Delaware County Community College just scored $10 million in state funding ($$) to push forward the second phase of its Southeast Campus project at the former Archbishop Prendergast High School in Drexel Hill. Set to open in January 2026, the $66.5 million campus will feature 28 new classrooms, workforce training programs, and even childcare. Thanks to this boost, the campus aims to become a vibrant community hub. Keep an eye out as this transformation unfolds!

Three Delco Colleges Land in Niche's Top 100 🎓

Three Delaware County colleges just snagged top spots in Niche’s 2025 rankings. Swarthmore College leads the pack at No. 38, followed by Villanova University at No. 64, and Haverford College at No. 68. All three earned “A+” grades, showcasing their academic excellence, despite Swarthmore slipping five spots from last year. With these schools approaching $100K/yr in tuition, it's clear they’re offering a premium education—just make sure your wallet’s ready.

Wildfires & Disease Cloud Eagles/NFL Brazil Debut 🔥

The NFL, and the Eagles, may be getting a bit more than they bargained for with their week 1 game in Brazil. Wildfires, rising disease cases, and crime spikes in São Paulo have cast a shadow over the upcoming Packers vs. Eagles game on September 6, Brazil's first-ever NFL game. Amidst the chaos, Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown voiced concerns about safety, hinting he might just stay in his room. But despite these worries, São Paulo is buzzing with excitement.
